• 8pm

Pretty excited. Get ready to move to KLIA, special thanks to my dad & mum for fetching me there. Hopefully, will be there on time. After all, its my first time ma so pretty nervous that can’t get on the plane le.

• 9.15pm

Checked in with my mum for my one and only one luggage. I also have a backpack and handbag with me which I prefer to hand carry. Still feeling pretty nervous until my tummy feeling little funny. In the end, even got a mild stomach pain! After all, its my first time traveling, alone some more. Since check in time was 10.40 so parents waited with me at the cafeteria downstairs. It was pretty boring since I’ve usually not much to say with dad or mum. Nevertheless, I was so excited I kept on blabbering about how my friends in office were supportive of me.

• 10.30pm

Time to walk to the departure hall already. Suddenly mum reminded me to buy some chewing gum so can avoid the air pressure at your ears. Since time was running out, we scavenged around the area but could not find for any convenience stores.

• 10.40pm

Time to go, with or without my chewing gum. Though, I comforted my mum that perhaps I could find some near the waiting area so I asked dad for RM3 just in case. Said my goodbyes and hugs. Being the eldest and the only family member that hasn’t gone overseas yet somemore first time go alone, parents were pretty worries. In fact, I was pretty “sampa” (come from village) by not knowing that I had to stick my passport and thumb print myself before passing the gate. I actually waited for miracle there until I asked the guards there, “What to do a?”

• 11.25pm

Suppose to be on board already but captain suddenly announced that there will be a delay due to some technical issues. Delay would be for an hour. Not only that we had to change gate and x-ray all your handcarries all over again. Pretty boring wait especially when you are alone. Luckily, got a super cute French baby girl to entertain me.

• 12.30am

Finally on board but still have to wait for the flight to take off. According to the captain, he had to get another pass from the tower because there was a lot of airplane activities flying around European airways so… have to wait again.

• 1.10am

Finally can feel the plane moving, Yay! Tried to sleep but I guess too tired until can’t sleep. Captain announced got supper so decided to watch movie first. In total, I watched “Stormrider”, “Material Girls”, “Ant Bully” and “Special Agent Cody” and another Chinese movie (forgot the name). Of course, got sleep a little but because my nose was always sensitive, I couldn’t get much napping because I felt difficulty in breathing. Quite a lot of air turbulent so at times I was pretty scare (maybe because of those airplane horror stories!)
