Special Kid-Part2

This is another update of my mischevious cousin. One fine day, my mum supposed to have dinner at my aunt’s place. A little background work, these days she was always too busy catching up with her favourite series that is currently showing on Astro Channel 19. Because of this, she decided to have her dinner front of the tv, just this once. Don’t get me wrong, my mum absolutely objects tv+food because she believes it = to indigestion. There suddenly came along my cousin…

“Lee Kor… (my mum promise with all her heart and soul that he seldom calls her and when he does, he’s definately up to no good), do you know my mummy told me that it is rude to sit in front of the tv and eat?

My mum “??!!….” Terkena pulak

Did I mention before about this cousin of mine that’s only 10 yrs old but happens to think like a 30 yr old adult? Unbelieveable right? Well, not until you met him. He’s like that since he was young. Perhaps because he’s so special so my aunt sents him to an international school so he could have more attention from the teachers. I guess its not really a waste because I heard the thing about being from a posh school, they help make your head grow bigger. No doubt, though, my cousin is kind of “action” in his own way because he does things the way he sees fit. He doesn’t really “tegur” you when he sees you (cause its a chinese tradition to “tegur” elders when you see them, right?) but when he stays overnight in my house, he’s just the world most polite-est boy you ever seen!

Other than that, he also uses seriously high class words like just one time he came back from his Korea cum Hong Kong holidays and I asked him how his trip was and which country he prefers and guess what? He said, “Uh, its not too bad. I don’t really favour any of the 2 countries but they are definately better than here!” And, that was when he was 9.

Then there was the other time he overheard us discussing about a fight happening in one of the newly opened hypermarket in town and suggested that the hypermarket should always make “pretend” fights so they can draw free attention from the newspapers resulting to free publicity! Imagine!

Recently, he caught stomach flu and was really sick. Finally, my aunts decided to send him to the clinic and he was complaining all the way “Wa, so pain!”, “What’s wrong with this doctor? I’m going to die!” (although he was the only patient and the doctor had another in his room), “Wa, I’m going to die soon!”, “Wa! OK! I’m dead!” and he actually played dead. Even in his pain, he managed to cause hysteria amongst my aunts and nurses there! The funny thing was when it was finally his turn, he walked into the doctor’s room feeling fine. The doctor even teased him for his commotion outside and he told the doctor “Are you going to give me an injection? Because if you are giving it on my butt then its ok. If not then, no thank you!”

Sister owns a Winnie The Pooh notebook and forgot to bring the notes to College. She called Mum on the phone and asked her to find for the notebook to check for some details that she needed.

Sister : Mum, can you please help me find my notebook? It has Winne the Pooh on the covers

Mum : Ok

After a while…

Mum (irritated) : Don’t have la

Sister : Got la. I remember that I put it over the table there next to the stack of books
