If you do not know anything yet, you might want to read here first.

At the same night, there were performances from some kinds from China doing acrobats. But we didn’t manage to catch it. Why? Because I had a terrible stomach pain. Must be the food! Arrrggghhh… in the end, we ended up watching TV instead. Guess what channel? TV8 lor! Duh. The finals for Malaysian Idol 2 ma. My 2 cents worth on this topic… Seriously, if you ask me who’s the better singer, I’ll vote for Nita. She’s really good especially the song Big Spender. Wow, her vocals are great. Luckily didn’t participate. Or else will buat malu only! But I feel Daniel won it fair and square. Its the life & fact of this industry, right? The show is not about who’s the better but to find who has the most votes and fans so the record company can exploit the best out of that person and get loads of records sold with minimum marketing expenditure! Plus, the person is already well known around the country so no need to spend any money introducing him/her to the world.

Day 2
Time to go back home. Woke up again super early in the morning to catch the “free” buffet breakfast. After eating eating and eating, we packed up and left for the one more park we did not visit. The rabbit park. Intially, I was a little reluctant to go there because I heard that rabbits stink and I’m afraid of anything stinky.

On the way there, we say really cool vacation bungalows situated on the side hills

Forgive the photographer (obviously not me! Because my hands are on the wheels)

But once again, i drop eyeglases (chinese translation for tick ngan geng) The park was full of the cutest fluffiest rabbits!

One of the rabbits caught my heart because it is so “wak sik”!

See! So greedy. It was so eager for food that Long Ears (err… I kind of gave this rabbit the name) jumped over to see if Camera-Man got food or not.

Whole family of baby bunnies scrambling on top of each other for food while I on the other hand held the food near enough for them to smell but far enough to be out of reach. Hehe…

After running out of rabbit food supplies, we head on back to KL. Well, ya that was before I decided to visit my grandparents at Bentong, Pahang.

Arriving at Bentong, I brought ah fei to the place that I grew up learning what is the meaning of a very small town. After dropping by at Grandma’s place, we head on down to a must try ice kacang stall. However, my granny kept on nagging us to go makan that instead of the must-try-ice-kacang-stall, she brought us to a trendy western coffee shop *slaps hand on forehead*. On and on we kept repeating to her we are already very full, but it seems the word “full” does not exist in her dictionary. Hm… maybe to her the meaning of full is actually hungry.

After repeating to us a list of the food available at the coffee shop (wah! Like as if she’s the owner there), we gave up and told her we would like toast bread together with ice kacang which ah fei forked out RM11 for 4 people punya food.

Later, we head on down back to KL. Well, all in all, I very much felt relax. However, I ended up sleeping for another whole day before start going for war on Monday.

Hhmm… you say go where next leh hor?…

Bukit Tinggi Trip - Part I

I just love going for holidays. The feeling of being somewhere that really does not need to rush for time is even better! Place of recommendation if you just feel like doing nothing but at the same time just want to chill out and have no one disturbing you at all? Bukit Tinggi. Some people told me that I need not stay over a night. In fact, give it 3 hours and you’ve visited the whole place already. But me being me, I prefer not to rush the time and spent a night there with ah fei.

Day 1
Woke up super early on the Friday morning to have a very relaxing breakfast at Sri Petaling. Then we straight drove off to the highway heading for destination Bukit Tinggi. Kind of nervous the night before because 1st time driving long distance. Hm, but if you want to know how come the guy don’t drive, the perhaps you should click here. To add to the nervousness, I got some feedback from friends that spent some time there that the roads were pretty sloppy lo. Even more sloppier than Genting wor. So when we drove up there, we were practically crawling. Actually, its because I’m only driving a Kenari, so what you expect ha?!

The view up hill was superb and lots of amazing plants and green scenery. Oh! Did I mentioned before I love the nature? But never ask me go camping. I love the nature from a distance and the view from car is a safe distance.

Finally we reached our destination. Colmar Tropicale. The French themed resort that was very beautiful in the pictures!

Eh? How come this castle looks so uncivilased?

Ah! This is only the right one! Believe it or not, we actually went into the unfinished castle and wondered why is it not finished yet!

There we stayed at room 2103 at block Brunfelsia or something like that. I guess it must be some kind of flower name in French.

Kena tipu. The pictures in this site don’t look anything NEAR this picture I took. Sheesh. Don’t ever trust any online photos. Somemore room rates don’t come cheap. A whopping RM200 but it includes 2 breakfast, 2 entries to the Japanese Tea park, Botanical Garden (which I also admired from a safe distance away) and rabbit park.

But the view of the street is very nice la..

After settling down, went to the Japanese Tea Garden. It was really wonderful because of the cold weather. It was going to rain and there wasn’t a single person around except for its staff so its like owning the place to your self. Of course, A fei’s favourite place would be the Japanese Tea Garden la. Why? Because he just love the fishes! Took a whole load of them and I have such difficulty choosing the best fish picture

A school of fish. They are enormous and as soon as they see humans, they literally come flying to you so you can feed them some food.

a fei posing because forced by me. Haha!

Also saw a blue bird & a squirrel as well.

During dinner, we had buffet. The choice of serving there was lousy. But the service there was outstandingly great. A Fei’s favourite would be pasta. They actually have a chef to cook the kind of pasta of your choice. We tried all the kinds of pasta i.e fettuccini, spaghetti & shells and even had tried all sorts of flavours i.e tomato sauce, bolognaise & cream sauce

that’s a fei eating yum yum!

Yay! Its a holiday! I’m going away to Bukit Tinggi tomorrow. Kind of nervous because its the first time I’m driving so far away from home. Wonder if the hills will be so sloppy like Genting because if it is I’ll probably hit the panic button. Why? Because I think Genting’s road is very hilly and scary as well. Hope things will turn out great tomorrow.

Til then…
