Tomatoes

In a recent GC gathering, I heard this really hilarious joke about a new colleague at G company. I asked one of my friends why her name was Tomato since her that’s not even her real english name and this was the reply

“I was going out for survey and going through all the sauces category and I kind of forgot one single category when she said, “what about the ter-mae-toe sauce?” and I said “WHAT? OH! You mean tomato sauce!”. You see, she used to study in Australia so she got this Australian slang where she pronouce tomato as ter-mae-toes so we mai call her Tomato lo”

I had a lot of complains about her and some of them were …

“I asked one of my supplier is she pretty or not. And you know what she said? She commented that if you were to give her 2 tight slaps on both her cheeks. You’ll have haze again (because she wears very thick makeup)”

But the ultimate joke of the day was her the fiasco she made in a company barbeque party. According to my friends, this was what happened. Narrated by my friend Ah Luan.

“You see, were were all very thirsty so we could not help ourselves by drinking a lot of coke. God knows what Tomato was thinking because she obviously must be thinking about us drinking alcohol. So guess what happened? Armed with 2 glasses of tonic, she drank and drank and drank. At first we all think why she so thirsty and thought she was drinking soft drink. But in the end, later we found out she had 24 glasses of tonic! And she was so drunk that she slept in front of the golf club entrance floor! We saw her on the floor and asked if she ok. So she said she’s alright and need to drive back home. Then suddenly she got up and saw the buggie (golf car) and ran towards the buggie shouting “That’s my car over there!”. We all said to her, “No, that’s not your car. That’s a golf car.” And she argued with all the bunch of us insisting that that golf car is her car and she even peered down the car to check the number plates!”

Goodness, I believe at the time she was drunk, she was not even 1 month old in that company. I wonder what does youngster’s nowadays really think of themselves getting to all this tight spots when there goes her image.

I’m bleeding!

And like hell! Ever been kena “cut throat” places before? Today I got my throat sliced and I think I will be bleeding for some time. I’ve been robbed of RM400!

I always had a problem with my nose from ever since I don’t know when. All this time I understand the problem as sinus. If you don’t know what sinus is, go ask anyone around. Perhaps some may be able to describe to you the problem. However, the problem has been bothering my family because I breathe hard. I visited a GP before which told me the reason I breathe so hard is because the 2 holes inside my nose is blocked by my own skin. Me, accompanied by mom decided to get some professional opinion and boy! as anyone know, professional opinion always comes with professional prices.

Early morning, went to visit this hospital to see the ENT (Ear Nose & Throat) specialist. Waited for like half an hour (although we are patient number 7) then soon it was my turn. Went inside with my nose blocked because it was cold (super cold air con in the morning makes my nose a little runny) and the specialist asked a couple of questions, poked the insides of my nostrils with dunno what medication which opens up my nasal path (so damn pain) then put in this sort of microscope into my nose and then explained a little about my nasal path on the monitor (i think mothers out there can associate this thing something like those machines used to scan your baby in your tummy). Wrote my diagnosis then its time to pay up.

And guess what was the price of my visit? A whopping RM393.33!!! Wah… while blogging now my neck still bleeding..

According to this receipt, my medication cost RM100++. I guess that’s ok gua since he prescribed me 3 medicines. However, the unacceptable part would be the consultation and the tools he used. As stated above, his consultations are RM180++. Imagine, it used to be only RM50 but I guess the increase in petrol prices also make the doctor fees increase!

And remember I mentioned about that tool like microscope punya? just poke a little bit then make my wallet got hole already! That one cost RM115++. Unbelieveable. Make me regret not having the ambition of being a doctor and study hard on my biology during middle school. If I know can earn so much I would have studied even harder (and also try to cheat during exams even harder)

So that’s why now I’m bleeding. Donations, anyone?
