Because today is such a bad day for me. I’m going to blog about food. This delicacy was made on last Saturday for my boyfriend’s grandfather’s birthday dinner.

I love to it pasta. This is my favourite food of all time. Its easy to make and easy to learn too! Here’s the ingredients

Ingrediants

  1. Mozarella Cheese
  2. Penne Pasta
  3. Dolmio’s Mushroom & Herbs sauce
  4. Healthy Sunflower Oil (actually any oil will do)
  5. HotDogs (preferbly from the weighing stations)
  6. Bacon (preferbly from weighing stations too

Firstly, make sure you have all the ingrediants you need! Duh!Because I tried cooking without checking that all my ingrediants are existant.

OK. Now that you have all your ingrediants ready, make sure you cut your sausages & bacon like above. Into slices. You might notice that the above looks more like ham, but that’s only because there’s no bacon so its actually up to individuals what they want to put inside.

After cutting up everything, boil water and pasta together to make sure pasta is soften. But not too soft ya, because we will need to sill stir fry the pasta in the later stage.

After pasta is softened to certain extend, take penne out from wok & into a plate. After that, wash the wok and heat up wok. The heating up process is so that when oil is added to the wok, “bubbles” will not start flying and boiling your skin instead.

Then later, add Healthy Sunflower Oil into wok and heat up. After ensuring the the oil is heated up properly, start adding bacon first into wok.

Fry the bacon for a while, then start addidng sausages. The reason for frying the bacon first is because bacons are not cooked! In my case, since ham and sausages are both cooked, I added everything together. Faster ma that way!

after that, add in Dolmio’s Mushroom & Herbs pasta sauce.

adding.JPGLater, add penne into the wok and mix everything together until its even.

finale.JPG

Pour the whole pasta into a microwaveable pot & adding mozarella cheese on top of the pasta

After that, put into microwave oven & bake it

Tada! The final is a simple and yummy lunch. I forgot to take the final pictures but according to my guinea pigs, they all loved it. Yummy!

Lion Dance at Office!

Just only Thursday my supplier sponsored some lions to come usher in the coming CNY. Its so exciting because there were press taking records of the event and photographers everywhere. The most important part is the feeling of celebrating the one of the biggest event of the year! Wow. As usual, because this is a super big supplier, the events were also super qua-ed. They actually bought 2 lions for the the eye opening ceremony (actually, I have no idea why they call it the eye dipping ceremony).Since this was my colleague’s product involved, she was supposed to explain to my Boss about the whole ritual. It was kind of funny when he asked her what it was all about, why the paint brush and the red ink and she was a little flustered since she herself was also half tong water + banana. The best was after the ceremony, he was presented with a gift of appreciation together with the brush which he asked what was the 3 word inscripted in the brush and my colleague replied, “Wo Ai Ni”!

Hospital Drama

Finally, my sister’s back home again. Firstly, I would like to thank everyone for their emotional and spiritual support. I would also like to say that I really appreciate all your concerns and get well soon wishes. Thank you so much! (wah! Suddenly, sound like those movie stars in the stage saying thank you’s)

Actually it all started about a week ago, last Wednesday. Dear sister has always complain of stomach ache but doctors “worldwide” always dismiss it as gastric pain. You see, she’s always been a stubborn little girl so when even when the pain unbearable started in the middle of the Wednesday, she refused to wake my mom up to speak to her. It wasn’t until the very next day that she admitted to Mom that something’s wrong. At first, everyone dismissed it as gastric but the pain persisted until Sunday. Practically the every day from Thursday til Saturday, we visited doctors but they could not do anything but give those gastric pills.

It wasn’t until Sunday when Mom decided to visit the gastrolo–blah blah doctor. It was evening and the next thing we knew, she was admitted to the hospital because Gastro Doc suspects that its because of the appendix. FYI, to anyone that doesn’t know what appendix is all about, chinese calls it nga nga cheong. Its something in our body that does not have any use at all (I think its the only internal organ in our body that has no use). Docs usually do not know if you really have that unless its serious (thats mean when press on the right hand side of your stomach its super pain) and surgery will have to be done to extract the thing out. In my sister’s case, I think her appendix got supernatural powers because whenever she’s near anyone with the DOC word, her stomach will be really good the pain will suddenly stop. So Gastro Doc checked her up, he could not conclude if its the appendix or not although he’s 70% confident. But whatever the reason is, she will need to be cut opened.

Ha! To all those girls that has gastric problems and love to diet as a way to be slim, my sister is the best example!

Night 1 - Sunday
Got the shocking news from Mom and packed up everything for Sis’s “camping” trip. As the result, with no car (because Dad used my car to go for some important function), I’m supposed to be responsible for little Bro’s dinner. No idea what to eat, decided to call deliveries but ended up a totally disasterous! Later that night, went to visit sis and passed her barang-barangan’s to her. Auntie & Uncle#6 was there for about 3 hours to teman Mom though Auntie #3 and #7 was there earlier too. Poor gal had to stay in the hospital alone.
