D’ connection

This is funny. I got to Ice Queen more than a year ago in where she works & I had to supply her needs & whimps all the time, she’s not at all a pain in fact she had offered a lot of help to me, being a very good listener & kind enough, never screamed & always keeping her composure well, hence the Ice Queen!

What we have in common (I guessed) is that we love to laugh, and make hell lots of noise. Very rare that, in the different roles we have to carry, we could at all have anything in common. U know how the corporate world goes… Practical, no nonsense, use each other like disposable napkins, thank gawd she, the Ice Queen & her mates are very adorable mates, so very kind.

When I left the ‘happening’ gang, I never had a chance to thank them for all their kindness, understanding & great help.. here, for u gorgeous team, a BIG HUGE THANK YOU!..And not forgetting the friendship that is extended to me (giving me the opportunity to be here now). It is an honour to me, really. Thanks so much.

Being friends, take a lot of efforts & thoughts… I appreciate so much.

Thanks again ;)

Horror at night

It was late. I think about 9pm++ after visiting my brother in the hospital. I was about to grab something to eat because I haven’t taken my dinner yet so I was driving around looking for a parking so I can get down to ta pau some food. Out of a sudden, 2 women decided to make my life a living hell.

Until today, I’m not sure if I’m at fault or not since the both of us were trying to turn into the main road. I don’t mind admiting my fault because IT IS my fault that I kinda scratched and cause a tiny itsy bitsy dent on her wira but the most frustrationg part was that I could not even see her! AND guess what? She and her friend told me that they could see me! At that time, I was about to burst them why the hell did they not allow me to go first since they could anticipate that I was about to go?!!! Fu** it.

Is this the manners that KL-ians drivers all have? That even when they could see an accident coming they just continue stepping on the accelarator? One of the most frustrating part was also their comment that I was driving fast. Hello, if they had any brains of their own, I had just released my brakes and stepped slightly on the accelarator when BANG! it happened. They didn’t even manage to slam their brakes on time! Bloody Bitches.

But I think if I were to blame anyone, it would be me. Why? Because I had the least brains if any 3 of us were to compare. Why? Because I was plainly bullied by 2 women around my age into paying up, I was too scared to call anyone, I had no friends working as a mechanic, I had no friends I could turn to, I’m a total failure by all means.

I hate getting into accidents. I’ve always cautioned myself as a very careful driver because in all the 7 years of driving, never did I cause an accident. All the time is someone kissing my ass, if not, I’ve did slam into someone’s butt before but it was such a small impact that no one had to pay for anything and no losses were made.

I’m still very financially hurt. Why? Because I’m really super broke this month. I have lots and lots of debts to pay up. Other than the routine bills, I have a wedding to attend that’s about to take place in a hotel (guys, you know la how much that can cost), I have a very important person in my life whose birthday is this month, I have a belated birthday whose birthday present I hutang, I have a farewell dinner to pay up for, and worse, I went shopping last month so my credit card bills are due!

Shit.

My trip down South

*This post is actually erm, about 2 months late. So my trip was supposed to be early last month

My very first business trip. It was supposedly to be an exciting journey but as usual, knowing me, I had lots to complain about. I was stuck in a car with another 3 of my colleagues all whom were ladies. Of course, the oldest senior drove the car. Since my company was too stingy to sponsor everyone a plane ticket thought that there was no airport there (Batu Pahat), they had to rent a car. Thank godness, my boss did one thing right which was renting super comfortable Toyota Camry. Me being a jakun, haven’t sat in such a beautiful sedan before, totally enjoyed much of the trip there. My senior was driving at practically 180 kmph but yet we couldn’t even feel a thing!

We started off the journey at 10.30 am and arrived approximately 3 hours later. There was supposed to be another car which was driven by my boss following us but he was stuck in the office due to some issues and well, its a long story.

When we arrived there at about 1.30pm, we quickly drove to the nearest food outlet available. Because my senior colleage is a malay lady, I couldn’t ask to eat some chinese hawker stall (i’m so totally deprived from it during working days because there’s a food court in the complex where I work!). So guess what? We ended up eating KFC instead.

After lunch, we decided to check into the hotel motel. At first impression of the motel wasn’t good at all. Main entrance facing the back alleyway, the huge Camry could not even fit into the parking space. What a letdown because such a beautiful car to be seen in a erm, motel. Not that I had high standards, but come on? Working in a so-called MNC company, at least you expect a minimum of 4 star hotel but this hotel motel does not even have a star. Why? Because its only 2 storeys high? Not only that, arriving at the room floor, the whole corridor was so dark and poorly litted if gives you the creeps and musty smell.

Work work work aside, the very next morning, we were all forced to check out as soon as we finished breakfast. So poor thing because the work place we had to go did not have any air-con. Because of the super hot weather, we sweated like poor dogs so by the time it was 6pm, everyone stunk like skunk. Then, we had to jump into the beautiful car and bear with the stink throughout the road to KL.

About food, I didn’t even get to eat anything good there because by the time we could go out for dinner, it was already 11pm so its more like supper. Then for lunch the next day, we ended up eating MCD as well! Fast food, even the mention of it brings shudder to my shoulders.
